Episode 203: Reptile Boy/Halloween

Insane Troll Logic covers two more Buffy episodes from season two: Reptile Boy and Halloween. Nathaniel and Maggie comment on how Reptile Boy is fun and has good character building moments (while being very problematic), and how Halloween is really neat but kinda uneven thematically. They also discuss "filler episodes," underutilized characters and talk about Giles a lot. As they love to do.

Nathaniel tries to battle off a plague and focus on the intensity of Buffy's emotional rampage against her friends and neighbors, while Maggie talks PTSD and the radicalization of young men. Also, the couplings of many major characters are talked about.

Episode 106: Out of Sight, Out of Mind/Prophecy Girl

Maggie and Nathaniel wrap up season one of Buffy with a pair of "bangers" (Maggie's words). Maggie enthuses about "Out of Mind" guest star Clea Duvall and  compares Prophecy Girl with The Movie, while Nathaniel talks earned consequences and how Prophecy Girl is a sequel to "Never Kill A Boy," and other weird conversations occur. As usual.
